GitHub Easter Eggs - The Skyline

GitHub is an asset to programmers and hobbyists with it's wide range of helpful features ranging from collaboration and, you guessed it, GitHub Skyline. And it's here that you can find a really cool Easter Egg.

What's GitHub Skyline?

GitHub Skyline is a 3D rendering of your contribution chart. It is a service provided by GitHub because sometimes your contribution chart isn't very accurate when showing your contributions, and GitHub decided that it wasn't just enough to depict them by colour.

It can be downloaded as a file and can also be 3D printed. You can use your mouse or keyboard to view your contribution from all angles.

What's the Egg?

Once you can see your 3D contribution, use the Konami Code using the arrow keys present on your keyboard, and you will see that the screen goes pixelated, but clearly, the 3D representation of your GitHub contribution starts to glow.

That's it for this post of GitHub Easter Eggs, and we will be sure to come around next time with even more interesting Easter Eggs. Be sure to follow our blog and comment down below your suggestions!

Happy Hunting!
