Minecraft Easter Eggs - Cosmetics

Even before Microsoft bought the game Minecraft it was one of the most popular games in the world, with millions of user playing and streaming it everyday. Even after the acquisition, it only increased in popularity, and continues to be played by many people.

We will be releasing 3 parts of the Minecraft Easter Eggs series :-

 - Cosmetics

 - References

 - Unique

Why the name "Cosmetics"?

These Easter Eggs only change the way certain items in the game look. Thus the name "Cosmetics" was put. However, this does not represent the way everyone looks at them, and represent only  my personal view.
Enough talk. Let's see them!

1] _jeb

This Easter Egg is really interesting. There is a certain item in Minecraft called a "nametag" that changes the name that appears on top any creature. When you modify a nametag on another device called an "Anvil" such that it modifies the creature's name to "_jeb". Now apply this nametag to a sheep. You will notice that as soon as the nametag is applied, the sheep will continuously change colours. Such a sheep is often called a "Rainbow Sheep". "Jeb" is the codename of one of the developers at Mojang, the company that originally made Minecraft.

2] Dinnerbone or Grummm

Similar to the previous Egg, this also includes modifying a name tag. Except that in this case, it should be modified such that it modifies a creature's name to either "Dinnerbone" or "Grummm". In this case too, these are codenames of developers at Mojang. Once the nametag is applied, the creature will appear upside-down! Yes, that's no error. The creature will appear upside-down!

3] Toast

Don't be fooled by the title. You ain't getting free toast delivered to your house from this one! When Ryan Holtz (yet another developer at Mojang) was developing rabbits user xyZenTV asked him to make a skin that would look like his girlfriend's lost rabbit, Toast. Now, naming a rabbit with a name tag or a rabbit spawn egg called "Toast" will switch the rabbit's skin to look like Toast as a memorial. It's a unique skin you cannot find without naming the rabbit!
That's it for this post of Minecraft Easter Eggs, and we hope to see you next time with another post filled with Minecraft Easter Eggs for you to wonder at. Make sure to comment down what your favourite Easter Egg was!
