Google Easter Eggs - HTML Special

When you think about web designing, you think HTML. When you think Easter Eggs though, you think Google. Google is very unpredictable when it comes to Easter Eggs. Hiding them in the most unimaginable places is Google's job, and finding them and revealing their truth is ours. This time, we will discuss HTML tags that when searched on Google, give, well, unexpected results.

1] <blink>

The <blink> tag in HTML causes a string or image (or anything else) to blink. Searching this on Google gives the following result.
As seen in the above GIF, all occurrences of the word 'blink' are, well, blinking.

2]<marquee>

When searching for the phrase on Google, the 'About --- searches in ---seconds." will start to scroll. This is also what happens when the <marquee> tag is attached to any image, text, or just anything in general.

Google will never stop it's rapid production of Easter Eggs, and we will never stop our rapid documentation of them. If you liked the post, show your enthusiasm for the next one in the comments below!

Happy Hunting!
