EggBusters - Among Us Easter Eggs Debunker (part 1)

Hello and welcome to the third post of EggBusters, and today we will be disclosing common misconceptions that people have about Easter Eggs in Among Us. Over 300+ million players play Among Us making it one of the most played game in the entire video-game industry. That being said, it is only understandable that such confusions arise, and that is why we're here to solve them.

What are these misconceptions anyway ?

Among us map Blueprints are very subtle and have a crafty touch to it. You may not notice a murder taking  place right under your nose or spot an Easter Egg right in front of your eyes. Yes Easter Eggs, although there are just a handful ,finding one can give you a hard time. At present there are only seven Easter Eggs. Exactly seven  and if you feel you've seen more, then I'm here to set your notions right. Many in-game references or suspicious artefacts are maliciously being claimed as Easter Eggs and many people innocently fall for this.

Let us first begin with one of the biggest misconception.

1] Dead snow crewmate meeting - Polus Map

When playing on the Polus Map, How many of you have wondered about this  inaccessible spot that you can visit only as a ghost. I'm pretty sure that every Player has come across this place which appears to be a grieving of Among us snowmen around a dead snow crew mate. 

It is quite fascinating, but it is definitely not an Easter Egg although widely stated as one, this a simple insignia, a piece of trinket to show and nothing more than that.

2] Lobby customization (Hats) 

When in the lobby waiting for players to join, every one likes to accessories themselves with the numerous items available. You can choose between 94 hats and  15 skins. Now, a majority of theses hats are references and even tributes to various games, movies and T.V shows and hence giving everyone  the impression of a reference Easter Egg. 

They certainly are References but not Easter Egg as they have been given copyright authorization and are no hidden spectacle.

3] Blinking Console - Admin (All maps)

Every Experienced Among Us gamer knows that the lobby console in Admin of any map will simultaneously blink on the borders if a murder takes place any where in the map. This is a built in feature of the game that people understood over time. Since it was something ambiguous to newer players it was immediately deemed as an Easter Egg, simply because freshers didn't know about it. In short this was never an Easter Egg.

4] Simsong - Polus Map (Office)

Another big misconduct. In Polus Map; Office where you can check each players vitals ( player status)  in a desktop displaying if they are dead or alive. This desktop has been labeled as 'Simsong' which is obviously a spoof for the Samsung Company. 

The Reason behind this is very lucid, 'Among Us' cannot use the name of any other brand unless they are permitted to and  it can be seen they have not been authorized by 'Samsung' and therefore a parody of the name has been used instead and is not an Easter Egg.
