Google Easter Egg - Mars 2020

To all those NASA aspirants, those pursuing to be astrophysicists, maybe even astronauts or even you and me. I'm pretty sure most of you or at least the ones who have seen 'The Martian' have heard about The Mars Perseverance Rover 2020.

What is the Perseverance Rover ?

In 2020 NASA launched a complete moon lander based rover, which was technified 

to be apt with the condition of Mars. This terrain based  rover expands over a width of 10 feet and a height of seven feet, weighing a little more than a ton is called the 'Perseverance Rover'.

At present this rover is scouring over the ground of Mars in search of astrobiological information to depict the presence of life in Mars and if at all, will it sustain life ? For more info refer to the link Mars 2020, Perseverance Rover

The Easter Egg

In tribute to this great step taken by mankind, Google has hidden an Easter Egg in the webpage. Search for 'Perseverance Rover' ;'Mars 2020' or 'Ingenuity' , and above the info box you can see a model animation of a hovering rover. 

Click on the icon, and this will change the screen into a Mars landscape and the drone will rise from its resting spot and start drifting around the screen.

This drone is called the 'Ingenuity Helicopter'  that was launched with the Rover.

Although Nasa has launched many other rovers this one has been the most successful so far, and hence the Easter Egg. Here we come to the end. Please do follow if you liked the content and stay tuned for more.
