Google Search Easter Eggs

What is the difference between 'Google Easter Eggs' and 'Google Search Easter Eggs'?

Before I start bombarding you with with Eggs, it would be necessary to tell you the difference between the two terms mentioned above. The first is a general term that refers to all the Easter Eggs in Google as a whole. The second, however refers to the Easter Eggs that are found by searching for specific word/words on Google.

1] Askew

Search for 'askew' on Google leads to the page feeling - lazy?. When 'askew' is searched on Google, the webpage is tilted slightly.

2] Anagram

Google likes bothering animals? That's news to me. Searching for 'anagram' on Google shows - "Did you mean - nag a ram".

3] Define anagram

This Egg has confirmed my lifelong suspicions that Google supports nerds. When searching this on Google, it shows - "Did you mean - nerd fame again".

4] Recursion

Have you ever had the feeling of doing something again and again just because you think it will lead you in the right direction? Well, you can now. Searching for this causes Google to show - "Did you mean - recursion". No matter how many times it is clicked upon, it leads to the same page.

5] Do a barrel roll

I will define this as the opposite of the 'askew' Egg. Google feels quite hyped now. I wonder who illegally bought sugar inside?

I hope you enjoyed these Eggs and the simple yet surprising ingenuity behind them. I tried to keep the activation of these Eggs simple, yet entertaining as they are. Tell me your thoughts on them and why Google seems to favour these specific word searches (my guess is that they are just too fun to pass) in the comments!

Happy Hunting!
